Signs of miscarriage – incomplete

An ‘incomplete miscarriage’ usually requires an operation to remove what remains of the pregnancy. Signs of miscarriage – incomplete: Abdominal or back pain accompanied by bleeding with an open cervix. Miscarriage is inevitable when there is a dilation or effacement of the cervix and/or there is rupture of the membranes. Bleeding and cramps may persist if the miscarriage is not complete.
Some of these symptoms include breast tenderness and morning sickness. Often these signs tend to almost go away as you enter your second trimester.
Recurrent or repeated miscarriage is defined as three or more miscarriages in a row. (You may hear this referred to as habitual abortion.) The causes of this are much the same as those for a single miscarriage.
