Home remedies for sore throat: hot tea
Mix together one tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of lemon or lime juice in a glass of warm water. Drink slowly. Boil the pieces to make tea. The tea should turn a yellowish (straw) or tan color. Put the lemon on heat to make it warm. Slowly lick this lemon squeezing it until no juice remains.
Do it 2-3 times a day. Drink ice-cold beverages. Try filling a glass half-full of crushed ice; then pour fruit juice over the ice. Gargles with tamarind (Imli) water may be beneficial. Most sore throat home remedies are caused by an infection, which has accompanied a cold, the flu or mononucleosis.
